Art and Illustration Classes

I am excited to have the opportunity to engage children and foster their creativity during my new art classes at Busbridge Village Hall, GU7 1XA.  Classes will run from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday afternoon from 27th September until the 19th December, including half term.  

Children will have the opportunity to make their own sketchbook to use throughout the course.  We will use this to plan, prepare and experiment with different mark making using a variety of tools and media including pencils, pens, charcoal and chalk.  Children will also make a concertina sketchbook and we will be sketching indoors and out, both using our imagination and observing from real life.  Other sessions will include creating comics, story books and zines, having a go at linocut printing, collagraph and collage.  We will also be painting using acrylics and watercolours.   Children will also have the opportunity to make wire sculptures.   There will be a limit of ten children to ensure quality tuition. All materials will be of a professional standard and are included in the price.  

The cost will be £20 for the session with 12 sessions per term.  Payment can be made by cash or card on the day.  Individual sessions can be booked throughout the term but advance booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.  A discount is offered for block bookings: save 20% by booking five sessions for the price of four.  Please contact me for further details.   Dates and topics are outlined below.  Please scan, screenshot or photo and return completed form to scruffygingercat@gmail.com.  Thank you.
