Taking a sketchbook, pencils, pens and small paint palette with me whenever I can, sketching becomes urban in the built up environment. I enjoy capturing a moment in time and place at home and abroad. Some of these sketches will inspire a painting once inside but otherwise I'm happy to have a record in my sketchbook.
